Israel and Syria begin peace talks

Switzerland News.Net
Wednesday 21st May, 2008

Israel and Syria have confirmed the beginning of indirect peace negotiations, with Turkey as the
mediator.

Both parties have said the negotiations should lead to a full peace between their countries.

In April, it became clear that Turkey had been functioning as mediator between Israel and Syria for months.

Representatives for Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and the Syrian government arrived in Turkey on Monday.

The previous round of peace talks between the two archenemies stalled in 2000.

Pray for peace

Peace is what we all want and we should try every possible opportunity! I really do not care what the motives are or who makes the money as long as there is peace and human respect.. It is about highlighing all the reasons why it can work.. there are enough people out there supporting the terrorists claims that war is the only answer.. what do you think about why it should work!

But alas, they are out busily leading the liars and cowards parade of fools! Trashing the American Values of Honesty and Freedom! Rule of Law! Doing the Right Thing!

Now the big talk is about what did you steal lately? A name??? just a name??? what kind of pervert are you? Steal at least a million dollars! You gotta have some self respect!

Our two party systems have merged into a one party plus system full of yes men and hollow suits that represent big business.
What happened to the DNC promises to end the war in Iraq?
They achieved some measure of success and now they now dip their collective beaks into the trough as much as the chickenhawk rinos.
As far as American honesty goes corruption war profiteering and criminality are nothing new.
Bull moose party anyone?

“To destroy this invisible Government, to dissolve the unholy alliance
between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day." - 1912 Progressive Party Platform, attributed to Theodore Roosevelt[1] and quoted again in his autobiography[2] where he connects Trusts and monopolies (sugar interests, Standard Oil, etc.) to Woodrow Wilson and Howard Taft, and consequently both major political parties.

Look at the above it’s as pertinent now as it was then.
American elected leaders take money from other countries and big business how can anything but corruption happen?

Further if all elected leaders had to lead the charge into battle people would be more eager to have rational dialogue and less rocket lobbing.
Look at the two sides bickering like old hens allowing the young men and women to receive the abusive responses.
Enough finger pointing get on with it!
As far as wet pants I believe all sides in the Middle east are crapping in their pants over the prospect of peace.

Syria will loose Iranian support

The U.S. has given years of effort and millions of dollars in the middle east peace negotioations. The agreement could have been signed anytime within the past 6 years; it gives the Palestinians 95% of what they want and the other 5% could be negotiated after signing. But Hamas wants all Israelis to drown in the Mediterranean Sea. Unless Israel is willing to give up the Golan Heights, and allow Hezbollah & Hamas terrorist to launch rockets from there, targeting all of Israel from that altitude, Syria won’t agree to anything! I think Olmert optimism is based upon his other problems in Israel’s courts; he is wagging the dog.
