Russia-U.S.-Ukraine group on security issues suspended: Kremlin

MOSCOW, March 19 (Xinhua) -- The work of the Russia-U.S.-Ukraine trilateral working group on security issues is currently suspended, Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told Russian daily Izvestia on Wednesday.

However, the Russia-U.S. working group on economic issues is continuing its operations, Peskov noted, saying, "The two groups operate separately as they have different agendas."

Since the start of the year, three rounds of talks in the Russia-U.S.-Ukraine format have taken place, with the last one held in Geneva, Switzerland on Feb. 17-18.
